I spent eight years building software — at Nokia, then running engineering teams — until Alzheimer’s pulled me somewhere else entirely.
Today I’m CEO of Unicorn Labs, where we build Noetika: AI that listens to how people speak and helps clinicians catch cognitive decline earlier. Voice turns out to be one of the most honest signals the brain gives us — our detection reaches 0.96 AUC, in five languages, with seven research and clinical partners across Europe and Asia.
Getting there taught me what no playbook covers: validation, regulation, procurement, and the thousand small decisions between a demo and a deployment. That’s what I advise teams on, what I mentor on at Google for Startups and Startupbootcamp, and what I talk about on stage.
